SWEAT IS SEXY - BRAND
We started Sweat Is Sexy with the idea to create a community. We were very intentional with the way we wanted our brand to be conveyed including the messaging, imagery, and overall aesthetic. Our brand is empowering but it also has a playful tone similar to how my best friend and I act around each other. We wanted to keep a light tone, but still give ourselves the ability to talk about more pressing topics.
To build our community, we started hosting SIS Saturdays at the beach which were workout classes we hosted to get that early morning sweat in. This helped us connect with our audience to understand their needs.
We have continued to push our message of inclusivity and learn along the way to make SIS a safe space for women.

Sweat Is Sexy (SIS), is a brand that I co-own empowering women in fitness. Our goal is for women of all sizes and kinds to enjoy fitness without feeling unsafe, embarrassed, or out of place. We have been working on the brand for quite some time and are excited for the direction it’s going in.
SWEAT IS SEXY - INSTAGRAM
We have used Instagram to grow our community and find new people that believe in what SIS stands for. Our posts consist of empowering graphics, touching on mental health, difficulties in the gym, silliness and more.
We created a posting schedule and content calendar to keep us on track as we have continued to post.
Reels have been one of our greatest tools in being able to make fun, informative content.

We always wanted to create merch and as our followers requests poured in, we started planning. We started by launching our first t-shirt and crew neck that was originally designed and printed in house. We later introduced other merchandise such as socks, towels, water bottles, etc.
